Dustin, Colin, and I spent Valentine’s day weekend at our aunt’s house a couple of hours away. We left Kadin at grandma and grandpa’s (can’t believe that was the first time I have left him overnight somewhere) and went and spent sometime with just Colin. Dustin and I could both tell that Colin LOVED being the only child for the weekend (and man that was a vacation in itself…lol). We relaxed, went shopping, and antique shopping because I am looking for props for photography (hoping to start a business soon) and Colin enjoyed spending a little time at the Pet store. He loved it there. I had a hard time getting him to leave. He spent most of the time by the fish and the puppies of course. He has a 4 lb. yorkie at home but he still enjoyed playing with those puppies….

I became an aunt again yesterday afternoon to a little nephew! Leyton James is so adorable. Just look at those little feet. Man, kids grow WAY too fast! Congratulations to his proud mama and papa!

For Dustin’s B-day a few weeks ago we all went out to eat at Mexican Village. Kadin was digging Dustin’s guacamole, (just look at his face!) which really surprised me. He kept trying to reach for it on Dustin’s plate, even though he had tons of his own food to eat. But then again, Kadin is a really good eater and not picky at all. Colin on the other hand is very picky. I swear that kid would live off of peanut butter sandwiches if we let him. I keep saying that I really think sooner than later Kadin is going to pass Colin up.

We ventured out to Ikea recently. I bought something to store all of the boys’ toys in for the basement. Never can have enough storage space, when it comes to the kiddos toys.  The boys enjoyed playing there. It was a nice change of pace. Please excuse the quality of these photos. I realize they are terrible. Blame it on my cell phone…

Last week, my sister Laura stopped by to spend some time with the boys.  She got stuck reading Colin one of his favorite stories. “No, David! by David Shannon” For some reason, he absolutely loves that book and could read it all day long. I would think that he would be sick of hearing, “no” from Dustin and I. Apparently not.

While I was out and about running errands the other morning, Dustin grabbed the camera and took some pictures of the boys. Oh, how they love each other, the story these pictures tell….

Lately, Colin has been carrying his baby boy doll around the house quite frequently. I just had to snap some pictures of him and his baby. I am sure one day he won’t like these pictures, but right now I just love them.
