silly faces

Whenever we go out to eat at Leeann Chin, I always order a small raspberry yogurt for all of us to share. It never fails…every. single. time. Kadin thinks that the yogurt is for him only. He LOVES it. What a silly boy!

I happened to be looking through a bunch of my photos the other day on my hard drive and ran across these. These were taken last May, but I wanted to share, because I thought it was so funny. This is where Colin fell asleep…of all places!!! Apparently, he was beyond tired this particular morning. This kid really cracks me up sometimes!

About a week after x-mas, the rec center here in town had a day that was called, “santa fun day.” The boys had a blast. Colin got to bounce in an extremely large bounce house. (I think he would of stayed in there all day if we would of let him.) They both also enjoyed playing the drums among various other things.

Santa even sat down next to Colin and signed his name on his hand. Colin didn’t seem to mind one bit, which really surprised me.

Dear Dustin,
Happy Birthday, old man! When we met at 23 and 26, 32 sure seemed a long way away, didn’t it? I would have never thought that at 32 we would be where we are. You a conductor for a large railroad. Me a stay-at-home mom for our two kids. A house. A dog. Two crazy kids. And you’re still my best friend. Thank you for that. For keeping your promise.
I am so lucky to have you as my husband and Colin and Kadin are just as lucky to have you as their Dad. You are such an amazing man. So kind, funny, caring, and selfless. Thank you for being such a great Dad to Colin and Kadin and for giving them such a good example to look up to.
Happy Birthday Dustin. We love you!
Becky, Colin, & Kadin

My dad purchased a kiddy-cat snowmobile for the boys from my cousin who had outgrown it. He was so excited to let the boys try it out. Colin was plain scared of it. If it was moving, he didn’t want to sit on it at all. Kadin on the other hand enjoyed it, until he got too cold. I am thinking maybe next winter Colin will enjoy it more, being he will be a bit older. We will have to see…

Guess what this little man (15 months old) decided to do this afternoon? He woke up from his nap and CLIMBED out of his crib. I was downstairs and all of a sudden I heard a little voice at the top of the stairs. I couldn’t believe it. Kadin shouldn’t be doing this already! What a little stinker. If he continues to do this, we have no choice, but to put him in a big boy bed. I really wanted to wait a little bit longer. My baby is getting way too big…sigh.
This is what I meant by my last post. (It definitely requires a lot of patience and I mean a lot!)

It sure is a tough job getting a decent picture of the boys together. It definitely requires a lot of patience and I mean a lot! Here are some of the better shots that I got of them.

Oh, how I wish they were ALWAYS this nice to one another. A girl can dream, right?
