Check out this little boys face and eyelash. Lately, when I am feeding Kadin something with a spoon, he won’t eat it unless I let him feed himself. Let’s just say that Kadin receives quite a bit of bathes after meals. Practice makes perfect, right?

Thanksgiving is a great holiday. Anyone can celebrate it. There is no gift buying involved. You get to eat tons of great food, visit with loved ones, and you stop and think about everything you should be thankful for in your life.

Colin decided to drink his strawberry yogurt, instead of using a spoon to correctly eat his yogurt for lunch. (Notice he is still in is pajamas?) It was raining and gloomy outside all day, so pajama day it was!   Check out his messy face… silly boy!

We tried something new the other day and let Colin play with shaving creme on a baking sheet. We gave him some truck/cars to drive around in the shaving creme.  It kept him busy for quite awhile.

I think he is kind of unsure about how the shaving creme feels on his hands.

“How am I going to get this off of my hands?”

“See my messy hands, Mommy!”

and the end result=bath-time!

Dustin’s cousin, Dylan got married this past Friday. The boys weren’t in the wedding, but we decided to dress them in their tuxes anyway. (Might as well get use out of them, before they outgrow them.)

and last but not least….me and the boys before calling it a night. As you can see they were a little wired. Let’s just say it was WAY past their bedtime.

I took both boys to the doctor yesterday, because I wanted to have their eyes checked. They were crusty and pink. Sure enough, they both have pink-eye. Looks like we won’t be leaving the house for a couple of days.    Now I am just waiting for Dustin and I to get it. Oh well…could be much worse.

One sunny afternoon, we decided to venture off to a State Park. We found a few trails and just enjoyed the gorgeous weather that we were having. For almost the middle of November; it was 64 degrees outside! Couldn’t ask for a better temperature. 

Both boys walked for sometime until they needed a break and hopped right into the stroller. Kind of surprised me how well they both did with that.

They really enjoyed playing in the leaves. We don’t have any trees at our house yet, so this was something “new” for them.

Kadin definitely likes playing with wipes. He will take them all out of the box one by one and then stuff them all right back in. He can’t get enough of those baby wipes!

Happy Veteran’s Day to ALL the men and women who have served our country! You are all very much appreciated…(that includes you too, Dustin). 

Dustin served over in England at a base from August of 2003-March of 2004 with the Army National Guard. I will never forget the day he left (one of the hardest days of my life) and the day he returned. Thanks so much Dustin for taking part in serving our country!

I got this idea from a photography blog that I have been following. I thought I would give it a whirl and try it. I had Dustin put a dress shirt on and get out his tie and away we went. Here is what I got from them…I love it AND them too of course!
