My family, Dustin, the boys and I all went to the State Fair together a couple weeks ago. After that we then went to our niece’s house to celebrate her 3rd b-day. Let’s just say we had two very worn-out boys on the way home. I think they both fell asleep within a minute of leaving the b-day party. They were exhausted!

Colin didn’t want anything to do with it once it started moving. Therefore, Kadin got a ride instead . . . Colin only sat here because it wasn’t moving. I don’t understand why he is so afraid of riding on moving equipment. If he takes after his daddy, he will definitely out grow that over time.

I was trying so hard to get a decent picture of the boys with their army print shorts and caps. Well, needless to say this is the best one I got! Oh well…

This is our dog; Lily. She is 3 years old and is full grown so she won’t be getting any bigger. She weighs a little over 4 pounds. She loves chasing the boys around the house when they are both on their hands and knees playing with her, sleeping, waiting by the boys at the dinner table in hopes that they will drop some of their food on the floor, attention and going for walks.

Although my boys don’t like to share their toys with each other at times. They really do love each other. This picture tells it all!

I came across this poem the other day and thought I would share it.

My babies,

I wish you rainbows
And lollipops of every hue;
I wish you miles of family walks too.

I wish you bubbles to greet you at your door;
And rays of sunshine to keep you warm.

I wish you puzzles with every piece;
And that you still find wonder in the tiniest treat.

My baby turned ONE today! Happy Birthday Kadin!!! We love you with all of our hearts.

P.S. He also is WALKING on his own! Yesterday, he started just taking off walking all on his own and has been taking about 8-10 steps before he looses his balance and  falls down. Yeah Kadin! Now I have a 1 and a 2 year old to chase run after. Lucky me!

Happy Anniversary Dustin! We have been married four years already today. Man does time fly. It seems like only yesterday I was walking down the isle with my father before he gave me away. I love you hun! Becky

The other night the kids helped daddy peel the corn husks off of the corn. Apparently, Colin didn’t want me to boil the corn. He thought he could eat it just the way it was….yuck!

Monster Cookies
1 1/4 cups peanut butter                    3 eggs
1 cup brown sugar                                1 cup sugar
2 tsp. baking soda                                 1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla                                            8 oz. mini M&Ms
8 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips    4 1/2 cups quick rolled oats
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix ingredients together in order given. Measure dough with ice-cream scoop. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for about 12 minutes. ENJOY!!!

Kadin loves to pretend to talk/babble on his play phone. He tries to imitate Dustin and I sometimes. It sure is funny how fast kids pick things up.
